Let price of 1egg = x rs
In 48 rs person can get = 48 / x eggs

After increasing price by 20% , price of 1 egg = 1.2 x rs
In 48 rs person can get = 48 / ( 1.2x ) eggs

According to ques , { 48 / x } - { 48 / (1.2 x) } = 2
x = 4 rs
Present price = 1.2x = 4.8 rs
price per dozen = 12*4.8 = 57.6 rs
