any method or tricks to these types of Q'.

Question:
27 small cubes of equal size are alligned in such a way that a bigger cube could be formed. Now five faces of this big cube are painted with red colour and remaining faces are left unpainted. Then how many cubes are there which have no face painted ?
Options:
A) 2
B) 4
C) 1
D) 6
Solution:
Ans: (a) CDGH is left unpainted and centre place of this face gives one unpainted cube. And centre part of this cube also gives one unpainted cubes.


= 1 + 1 = 2

This type of questions solved by the imagination.
According to the question, the figure may be analaysed by dividing it into 3 horizontal layer,
First layer - All cubes are painted because five phases are painted.
Second layer - Except central cube, All cubes are painted.
Third layer - Except central cube, All cubes are painted because Buttom part of cube is not painted.
