A clock gains 15 minutes every day. If it is set at noon 12 O'clock, then what time will it show at 4 a.m. in the morning ?

A) 4 : 20 Morning
B) 4 : 30 Morning
C) 4 : 02 Morning
D) 4 : 10 Morning 
Solution:
Ans: (d) The clock gains 15 minutes in 24 hours.

\(\therefore\) Hours between 12 O'clock (noon)

and 4 a.m. = 16 Hours.

\(\therefore\) The Watch gains in 16 Hours 

= \(\cfrac{15}{24}\) × 16 

= 10 minutes

So, the Watch shows 4 : 10 am.
