explain? (Question: 271935.0 )

why bonus is included twice in solution, once u have calculated 1%=150
then why again it is taken as 13% and not 12% ???

Question:

A company give 12% commission to his salesman on total sales and 1% bonus on sales over Rs.15,000, if the salesman deposits Rs.52,350 after deducting his earning from total sales. Find total sales?
