suppose till 19 th inning avg is x . total run = 19x

now after 20th inning total run 19x +110

avg of 20 s inning = 19x + 110/20 = x+4

we get x= 30

Question:
A batsman in his 20th inning makes a score of 110 and there by increases his average by 4. What is his average after 20th innings?
Options:
A) 34
B) 43
C) 36
D) 30
Solution:

Ans: (a) Average after 20th innings = 110 – 4 × 19 = 34
