Question:

DIRECTIONS: In the following questions, some of the sentences have errors and some are correct. Find out which part of a sentence has an error and blacken the oval corresponding to the appropriate letter (a), (b), (c). If a sentence is free from errors, blacken the oval corresponding to (d) in the Answer Sheet.

I shall not lend (a)/ you money until you (b) give me gold. (c) No error (d)

Options:
A)

(a)

B)

(b)

C)

(c)

D)

(d)

Solution:

Ans: (b) Until means 'time before' and unless shows condition and means 'if not'. So replace 'until' with 'unless'.

Use unless instead of until, because condition is followed by unless and time is followed by untill
