i think there is error in calculating lcm it should be 336

Question:

Three numbers are in the ratio 6 : 7 : 8 and their L.C.M. is 1512. Then their H.C.F. is-

Solution:

Ans: (a)

Let the numbers be 6x , 7x, 8x

LCM = 168x                          

168x  = 3024

x = 9

The numbers are 54, 63, 72

∴ H.C.F. is 9
