it could be either "RUN INTO" and " COME ACROSS".
Stop hybridising two phrasal verbs. you took Run from first and attaches it to second part of next ACROSS.

Yesterday Ram ran into his old friend.
yesterday Ram came across his old friends.
Yesterday ram Ran across his old friends.

3rd looks more archetype and sounds stupid.

Well I just checked and I think it is correct....!!! Ran across is correct use here it means same as come across.
