this is utter nonsense..person is sitting inside the train..so how the length of train os considered...???this test series is repleted with errors

Question:

A passenger sitting in a train of length 520 m, which is running at a speed of 80 km/h crossing two platforms. He notices that he crosses the first platform and second platform in time interval which are in the ratio of 8 : 5 respectively. If the length of first platform is 1040 m. Then the length of second platform is –

Answer would be 650. Length of train would not be considered, because from observer's point of view only platform is being covered. He is already in the train, he doesn't need to traverse the length of the train as well.
