Why is not answer option A

Question:

A sentence has been given in Active/Passive Voice. Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which expresses the same sentence in Passive/Active Voice and mark your Answer.

I am going to buy new trousers tomorrow.

Options:
A)

New trousers are going to be bought by me tomorrow.

B)

New trousers is going to be bought by me tomorrow.

C)

New trousers are being bought by me tomorrow.

D)

New trousers are to be bought by me tomorrow.

Solution:

While changing the voice, we interchange the respective places of the subject and the object. In passive voice, we always use the third form of the verb with the helping verb. Some changes are made in the pronoun usage. Option ‘a’ best expresses the sentence in passive form.
