Question:
Three numbers are such that the first number is 10 less than twice the second and the second number is 1 more than twice the third. Twice the second number is equal to the sum of the first and third numbers. Find the sum of first, second and third number?
Options:
A) 45
B) 63
C) 81
D) 99
Solution:

Ans (b)

Let the three numbers be a, b and c.According to the given question, a + 10 = 2b, b - 1 = 2c and 2b=a + c

a = 32, b = 21 and c = 10

So, the required sum 10 + 21 + 32 = 63
