That formula EOQ=2×A×Coi
I have lot of problem face this formula.what is this numerical problem has been ask something and replacing the formula has to solve something..
Your solution is wrong and carry on base formula..to give good formula given and shortly you don't take way..

Annual demand for a product costing Rs.100 per piece is 900. Ordering cost per order is Rs.100 and inventory holding cost is Rs. 2 per unit per year. The economic lot size is

Ans: (b)

A = Annual consumption in rupees

C0 = Cost of placing an order

i = Inventory carring cost per unit per year

EOQ=2×A×C0i    

=12×900×1002=300
