Short cut this tupe all questions

Question:

21 men can complete a work in 16 days working 9 hours a day. Find the total number of men required to complete thrice the initial work in same number of days working 7 hours a day?

Options:
A) 72 men
B) 78 men
C) 81 men
D) 87 men
Solution:
Ans: (c)

No. of men × No. of days× No. of hours = Total work

21 × 16 × 9 = 1 unit (initial work)

 x × 16 × 7 = 3 unit (triple the work)

(where x = required number of men)

\(\cfrac{21 × 16 × 9}{x × 16 × 7}\)   = \(\cfrac{1}{3}\)

              x = 81 men
