What formula did u apply here for surface area of cube

Question:

The side of a square exceeds the side of another square by 4 cm and the sum of the areas of the two squares 400  cm2   . Then find the total surface area of such figures which is formed by the two cube. Which have dimensions same as the square given above.

Options:
A)

2512  cm2   

B)

2812  cm2   

C)

2112  cm2   

D)

2612  cm2

There r five surfaces of each cube plus one joint surface.. So remaining area will be calculated
