The expenditure on rent is more than the expenditure on miscellaneous purchase by –

Required % = 70-40/40 * 100 = 75%

Just divide by 360 in the difference of expenditure on rent and miscellaneous and make multiplication of 100. We have divided by
360 because one circle measures 360 degree and data distribution has been given in degree.
