50% as efficient - what does it mean , more or less as compared to B???

Question:
A is 50% as efficient as B. C does half of the work done by A and B together. If C alone does the work in 20 days, then A, B and C together can do the work in –
Options:
A) 5 \(\cfrac{2}{3}\) days
B) 6 \(\cfrac{2}{3}\) days
C) 6 days
D) 7 days
Solution:
Ans: (b)

C takes 20 days

A & B will take 10 days ( Given)

A + B + C = 1/10 + 1/20 = 3/20 ( 1 day work)

total days=  20/3=6.66 days

A is 50% as efficient as B means if B take 2t time in doing any work then A will take 2t/2 = t time in doing the same work.
