I can't understant, Is it a formula ?

then what for LY, LY+1, LY+3 ?

Question:
If a calendar was used in 1901, 1907 and 1918, then  in which year could this calendar be used again ?
Options:
A) Year 1924
B) Year 1929
C) Year 1925
D) None of these
Solution:
Ans: (b) In the same century the calendar of a year which is in the form LY+2, will repeat after a time period of 11 years. Therefore the calendar of the year 1918 will match completely with the calendar of the year 1918 + 11 \(\Rightarrow\) 1929.

Alternate solution:

If both years are of same nature (i.e. Leap or ordinary year) , then ,
same calendar for different years will be as follows,
for leap year , it will occur after 28 years,
for leap year +1= after 6 years,
for l.y +2= 11 years,
for l.y+3= 11 years.
Now 1918 is l.y+2(1916+2)
so 1918+11=1929

The concept is like this : If we have ly+2 or ly+3, add 11; if we have ly+1, add 6..Here 1916 will bw ly, so 1918 is ly+2, hence we add 11. Likewise, 1907 is ly+3 as 1904 is a ly, hence again we have added 11, ie. 1918.
