Ram went 15 km to the West from my house then turned left and walked 20 km. He then turned East and walked 25 km and finally turning left covered 20 km. How far was he from my house ?

Question:
Ram went 15 km to the West from my house then turned left and walked 20 km. He then turned East and walked 25 km and finally turning left covered 20 km. How far was he from my house ?
Options:
A) 5 km
B) 10 km
C) 40 km
D) 80 km
Solution:
Suppose my house is at P. from P Ram walks 15 km towards West and reaches Q. At Q he turns left and walks 20 km to reach R. At R, he turns east and walks 25 km to reach S. At S, he turns left and walks 20 km to reach T. It is evident from the figure that:

TP=TQ-PQ and TQ=RS 

TP= RS-PQ = 25-15=10 km
