If i take the addition of the numbers, then only the last option has a composite number as its sum, the sum of other numbers is prime..
for example:- 26+3 = 29, 39+4 = 43, 42+5 = 47 which are all prime.
The last sum i.e 44+6 = 50 is composite...
Kindly state if the following logic is appropriate or no.

Options:
A)

26 , 3

B) 39 , 4
C) 42 , 5   
D) 44 , 6
Solution:

Ans: (b) First number รท Second number = Remainder 2

\(\cfrac{26}{3}\) = Remainder 2

 \(\cfrac{39}{4}\) = Remainder 3

\(\cfrac{42}{5}\)= Remainder 2

\(\cfrac{44}{6}\) = Remainder 2
