Different answer in Kiran (Question: 186498.1 )

Hi Sir, I read the answer to be thoughtless statement in Kiran. Please confirm once more. As the line between these options are too fine, it's tough to delineate!

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Four alternatives are given for the Idiom/Phrase. Choose the alternative which best expresses the meaning of the Idiom/Phrase.

Sweeping statement – 

Options:
A) A rash statement
B) A thoughtless statement
C) A unpremeditated statement
D) A generalized statements
Solution:
Ans: (d) If someone makes a sweeping statement, they make a statement which applies to all things of a particular kind. So, (D) is the right answer.
