If xy = yx, then \(\left ( \cfrac {x}{y} \right )^{x/y}\) equals:
Options:
A) \(x^{x/y}\)
B) \(x^{(x/y)-1}\)
C) \(x^{y/x}\)
D) \(x^{(y/x)-1}\)
Solution:
Ans: (b)

(x/y)x/y={x/(x)y/x}x/y

(∴xy=yx)

=(x1-y/x)x/y
