here amount divide after 10 months not 12 month , please correct it

Question:
A, B and C enter into a partnership and their shares are in the ratio \(\cfrac{1}{2}:\cfrac{1}{3}:\cfrac{1}{4}\).After 2 month, A withdraws half of his capital and after 10 month, a profit of rs 378 is divided among them. What is B's share?
Options:
A) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)129
B) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)144
C) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)156
D) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)168
Solution:
Ratio of their original investment,

                                             = \(\cfrac{1}{2}:\cfrac{1}{3}:\cfrac{1}{4} = 6:4:3\)

Let initially A, B and C investment \(\unicode{x20B9} \)6x, \(\unicode{x20B9} \) 4x & \(\unicode{x20B9} \)3x respectively

A : B : C = (6x\(\times\) 2+3x\(\times\)10): (4x\(\times\)12): (3x\(\times\)12)

= 42x : 48x : 36x

= 7:8:6

share of B =\(\cfrac{8}{7+8+6}\times378\)

= \(\cfrac{8}{21}\times378=\unicode{x20B9} 144\)
