Height is 3 cm not 3 m

Question:

A hollow cylinder of copper of height 3 m is melted to cast a solid cylinder of height 9 cm. If the outer and inner radii of the hollow cylinder are 2 cm and 1 cm respectively. Compute the diameter of the solid cylinder.
