how it is possible. ques is already in passive format despite it ans also also in passive form

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Select the one which best expresses the same sentence in passive / active voice.


He was offered the job but he refused. 

Options:
A) He refused the job.
B) He refused the job that was offered to him.
C) The job were offered to him but he refused.
D) The job was offered to him but he refused. 
Solution:
Ans: (d) In option (A) and (B) incorrect subject is used and in option (C) incorrect helping verb is used. So, option (D) is the correct answer.
