How do we get 90/72??

Question:

In a 100 m race, A runs at a speed of  53    m/s. If A gives a start of 4 m to B and still beats him by 12 seconds. What is the speed of B?

A)

54    m/s

B)

75    m/s

C)

43    m/s

D)

65    m/s

correction in the 4th line ..A beats B by 12sec

100---> it is a 100m race(distance)
4 ---->Start provided by A
so now distance becomes = 100-4=96
time is 60sec for A and B beats him by 12sec ---> 60+12=72
So finally speed = distance/time = 96/72
