ABC is a right-angled triangle, right angled at B. The external bisector of ∠A meets CB produced at D. If AC = 25 cm, BC = 7 cm, find the length, of CD.

Options:
A) 78 cm 
B) 112 cm
C) 168 cm 
D) 175 cm
Solution:

∴BD = 7 × 24 = 168 cm

∴ CD = 7 + 168 = 175cm
