Please stop giving separate equations in question than the solved one. This type of error is often found in this site. It is not the business of the candidate to predict the actual equation while attempting a test.

Question:

The value of \(\sqrt[]{20+\sqrt[]{20}+\sqrt[]{20....}}\)      is:

Options:
A) 4
B) 5
C) 6
D) Greater than 6
Solution:
Ans: (b) Let x = \(\sqrt[]{20+\sqrt[]{20+\sqrt[]{20...}}}\)

squaring x2 = 20 +\(\sqrt[]{20+\sqrt[]{20+\sqrt[]{20...}}}\)       = 20 + x 

x2 - x - 20 = 0

(x - 5) (x + 4) = 0

\(\therefore\) x = 5 or x = -4

\(\therefore\) x = 5
