answer will be 900 rs, coz it is given 7.5 rs per meter and you have multiplied it with 300 cm, which will actually b 3 meter.

The cost of cultivating a square field at the rate of Rs. 160 per hectare is Rs. 1440. Find the cost of pitting a fence around it at Rs. 7.50 per metre.

A) Rs. 9000
B) Rs. 18000
C) Rs. 8100
D) Rs. 27500
Solution:
Ans: (a) ATQ,

The area of square field = \(\cfrac{1440}{160}\) = 9 hectare

= 90000 cm2

The side of square field = \(\sqrt{90000}\)  = 300 cm

The cost of fence = Rs. 7.50/m

So, the cost of pitting a fence = 300 × 7.5 × 4

= Rs. 9000

no ans will be 9000. 1 hectare is equal to 10000 meters. so side of square is 300 m. hence perimeter is 4*300=1200. and cost is 1200*7.5 =9000.
