catalyst are two types positive catalyst and negative catalyst. postive catalyst increase the rate of reaction nd negative catalyst decrease the rate of reaction and the question is catalyst is... and the answer od this question is catalyst is that which can increase or decrease the rate of reaction

Solution:

Ans: (d) A Catalyst is a substance that speeds up a chemical reaction but is not consumed  by the reaction, hence a catalyst can be recovered chemically unchanged at the end of the reaction it has been used to speed up the chemical reaction.
