Which of the following gives the difference in the average growth rate of 92-93, 93-94 and 94-95 to that of 94-95, 95-96 and 96-97?
Options:
A) 3.74
B) 2.7
C) 3.9
D) None of these
Solution:
Ans: (a) Average % growth rate of 92-93, 93-94 and 94-95 = \(\cfrac{3.8+20+19}{3}=14.26\)

Average % growth rate of 94-95, 95-96 and 96-97 = \(\cfrac{19+21.4+13.6}{3}=18\)

Difference =  18-14.26 = 3.74
