option c also wrong statement

Question:

If three medians PQ, RS and MN of PRM meet at O as shown in figure, which of the following statements are incorrect?

Options:
A)

Area of DPM = Area of OMR = Area of OPR

B)

2NO = OM

C)

Area of OSM =   16    ×Area of PRM

D)

The perpendicular drawn from O to the three sides of ∆PRM area of equal lengths.

Solution:

Ans: (d)

By property,

Centroid divides OM and ON is 2 : 1 and area of ∆OPM = area of ∆OPR = area of ∆OMR

And centroid divide in equal area

Area of OSM =   16   × Area of PRM

So, answer d) is wrong.
