Rephrase the question please so that it is lucid to everyone.

Question:

A milkman sells 120 litres of milk for Rs.3360 and he sells 240 litres of milk for Rs.6120. How much concession does the trader give per litres of milk, when he sells 240 litres of milk ?

Options:
A)

Rs.2

B)

Rs.3.5

C)

Rs.2.5

D)

Rs.1.5

Solution:

Ans: (c)

120 litre of milk = Rs.3360

240 — 6720

Them sell 240 litre = 6120

So, discount = (6720 – 6120)

Rs.600

Discount per litres = 600/240  = Rs.2.5
