so 1/2 12*5=30
volume = area of base * height so
30*h=330
h=11 cm
wrong ans given

Question:

If the base of a right pyramid is triangular in shape of sides 5 cm, 12 cm and 13 cm. its volume is 330 cm³ then its height will be-

Options:

33 cm

11 cm

22 cm

32 cm

Solution:

Volume = 330 cm³

Base area $= \frac{1}{2} \times 5 \times 12 = 30 c m^{2}$

$V o l u m e = \frac{1}{3} \times B a s e A r e a \times H i g h t$

$330 = \frac{1}{3} \times 30 \times H e i g h t$

Height = 33 cm
