Question:
The wheel of a bus having radius \(\cfrac{3}{4}\)m. Makes 84 revolution in half minute. Then the speed of the bus in km per hour is –
Options:
A) 17.82
B) 47.52
C) 23.76
D) 33.26
Solution:
Ans: (b) ATQ,

Distance covered in half minute 

= 84 × 2 × \(\cfrac{22}{7} × \cfrac{3}{4}\)

= 396 m

So, the speed of the bus = \(\cfrac{396 × 2 × 60}{1000}\)

= 47.52 km/hr.
