b is the only number not a multiple of 3

Question:
In the following question three of the given four are alike in a certain way and form a group. Which is the one that does not belong to that group in the following questions? 
Options:
A) 2259
B) 3418
C) 5106 
D) 7890
Solution:

Ans: (d) Sum of the first three digits = Value of 4th digit

i.e. 2259 ⇒ 2 + 2 + 5 = 9

3418 ⇒ 3 + 4 + 1 = 8

5106 ⇒ 5 + 1 + 0 = 6

1315 ⇒ 1 + 3 + 1 = 5

But 7890 ⇒ 7 + 8 + 9 = 24 ≠ 0
