I think it's not the right way. Pls clarify

Question:
The ratio between the speeds of a truck, car and train is 3 : 8: 12. The car moved uniformly and covered a distance of 1040 km in 13 hours. What is the average speed of the truck and the train together?
Options:
A) 75 km/h
B) 60 km/h
C) 48 km/h
D) 100 km/h
Solution:

Ans (a)

Let speed of the truck, car and Train are 3x, 8x and 12x respectively.

Total distance covered by car in 13 hours = 1040 km

1040 = 13 *8x

x = 10.

Speed of the truck = 3x = 3 *10 = 30 kmph.

Speed of the train = 12X = 12 * 10 = 120 kmph.

Average speed of truck and train = 2(30 * 120)/(30 + 120) = 48 kmph.
