Can we solve it in other short cut method (value putting) ?

Question:

Options:
A)

\(\pm\ \sqrt{a^2 + b^2 - c^2}\)

B)  \(\pm\ \sqrt{a^2 - b^2 + c^2}\)
C) \(\pm\ \sqrt{a^2 - b^2 - c^2}\)
D) \(\pm\ \sqrt{a^2 + b^2 + c^2}\)
Solution:

i think we have a shortcut for this, in this type of questions, just assume any value for @(theta) and match the option given .
