if A is taking 12 days and B is half more efficient than A that means it will take Half less time than A , as

Rate of efficiency is inversely proportional to the rate of time taken

Question:
A can do a piece of work in 12 days. B is 50% more efficient than A. In how may days will B finish the same work ?  
Options:
A) 6 days
B) 8 days
C) 12 days
D) 24 days

I am sorry I have sorted it out if B is 1/2 more efficient that means B is 3/2A therefore time ratio is 3:2

12/x=3/2
