Water cement ratio is a factor of both Workability and Consistency of concrete.
Whereas aggregate-cement ratio is a factor for durability of concrete.

Question:

Consider the following parameters of concrete:

1. Impermeability

2. Compactness

3. Durability

4. Desired consistency

5. Workability

Which of the above parameters are relevant for ‘water-cement ratio’?

Options:
A)

4 and 5

B)

1 and 2

C)

2 and 4

D)

3 and 5

Solution:

Ans: (d)

Yes option A is correct..
If wc increase then concrete permeability increase and the volume change is more that's why durability is less
