answer should be 17 days (Question: 108029.0 )

in 2 days he'll save rs 50.
so in 2 days x 8=16 days he'll save 8x50=rs400
and on 17th day he'll get rps 200 which will bring his total to 400+200=rps 600

Question:

A man earns Rs 200 on the first day and spends Rs 150 on the next day. He again earns Rs 200 on the third day and spends Rs 150 on the fourth day. If he continues to save  like thus, how soon will he have Rs 600 in hand?

Options:
A) 10 days
B) 12 days
C) 18 days
D) 17 days
Solution:
Ans: (d)

In two days, total savings = Rs 50

Till 16th day, he will earn = 8 × 50 = Rs 400

Now, on the 17th day, he will earn = 400 + 200 = Rs 600
