there are only 4 prime numbers between 101 and 120 i.e 103,107,109,113 so, the number of composite numbers is 19-4=15

The number of composite number between 101 and 120 are :
Options:
A) 11
B) 12
C) 13
D) 14
E) None of these
Solution:
Ans: (d) There are 9 even numbers which are all composite numbers. Amongst the odd numbers 105 , 111 , 115 , 117 , 119 are composite numbers. So, there are 14 composite numbers in the given range.

you are right. it is written BETWEEN 101 AND 120. so we will not include 101
