let suppose the side of the greatest square being inserted inside the right angled triangle is "a".
Area of the ABC =area ADB+area CDB
6=1/2*a*root2*h1+1/2*a*root2*h2
6=(h1+h2)*1/2*a*root2
From the diagram we know that (h1+h2)=5
6/5=1/2*a*root2
12/5=a*root2
144/25=a^2*2
a^2=144/50
