put, (x+14) (t-2 ) = xt (1)
and (x-10) (t+2)= xt (2)
solving 1, we get 14t-2x=28 (3)
2, we get 2x-10t=20 (4)
solving 3 and 4 we get t= 12 and distance =840

Question:
A train travels a certain distance with the uniform speed. If the speed of train is 14 km/h more, then the time taken to travel the same distance is 2 hour less. If the speed of train is 10 km/hr less, then time will be 2 hour more. Find the distance and the time taken to travel the distance.
Options:
A) 420 km, 12 hr 
B) 840 km, 8 hr 
C) 840 km, 12 hr
