in problem intersecting area of two circle is asked but in options and answer some different shaded region is calculated.

Question:

Two circles both of radii 1 cm, intersected such that the circumference of each one passes through the centre of the other. What is the area (in sq. cm) of the intersecting region ?

Options:
A)

\(\cfrac{2\pi}{3}-\cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)\(\cfrac{2\pi}{3}-\cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)

B)

\(\cfrac{2\pi}{3}-\sqrt{3}\) 

C)

\(\cfrac{4\pi}{3}-\cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)

D)

\(\cfrac{4\pi}{3}+\cfrac{\sqrt{3}}{2}\)

ANSWER IS CORRECT.... DO IT THIS WAY.....ADD AREAS OF FOR SECTORS AND SUBTRACT THE AREAS OF TWO EQUILATERAL TRIANGLES BECAUSE THEY ARE COUNTED TWICE WHILE CALCULATING THE AREAS OF SECTORS....!! ANSWER WILL BE SAME
