dont know, why paramount has a habit of changing the ans.
i hv noticed such problms many times.
the same question was asked in prev mock having the ans{C} but y this time ans differs from that?

ans for sure must be C.

Solution:

Ans:(b) use past perfect tense i.e. would have waited.
