Rest taken at the 63rd downstairs should not be calculated as Akbar has already reached the ground, so time taken by him during downstairs should be

(63-1)*3 = 186 sec

Total time = (200+186)sec = 386 sec = 6min 26sec

Question:

Four wives of Akbar lived in different floor of four storey building. The number of stairs of floor were 23, 21, 19 and 17 respectively and Akbar took 5 seconds per upstairs and 3 seconds per downstairs. His third wife lived on 3rd floor and he wanted to meet her. If he was on the first floor, then find the time taken by him to come ground after meeting her?
