The average age of all the 16 professors of Lucknow University is 52 years. What will be the average age of all the 16 professors after 4 years, if there is no any retirement or recruitment?
Options:
A) 68 years
B) 64 years
C) 56 years
D) None of these
Solution:
Ans: (c) Present average age = 52 years
4 years later the average age = 52+ 4 = 56 years.

Dear Student ,
The given answer is correct.
Given , average age of 16 prof is 52 .
Therefore sum of their ages = 52 * 16 years
After 4 years , sum of their ages = 52*16 + 4 *16 { Age of each prof will be increased by 4 years}
Average ={ 52*16 + 4*16} / 16= 52+4 = 56
