let efficiency (C:(A+B)) = 1:2
the time taken (C:(A+B)) = 2x : x
A,B,C WORK IN = (2x/3)
since C can do work in 20 days ==>(A+B) do in 10 days
the time taken (C:(A+B)) = 2x : x ==> 20 : 10
A,B,C WORK IN = 1/(1/10 + 1/20) =20/3 =6 2/3 days

Question:
A is 50% as efficient as B. C does half of the work done by A and B together. If C does the work alone in 20 days, then A, B and C together can do the work in —
Options:
A) 6 days
B) 6 \(\cfrac{2}{3}\) days
C) 7 days
D) 5 \(\cfrac{2}{3}\) days
Solution:
Ans: (b)
