let A's one day work in = 1/a
let B's one day work in = 1/b
then A's 3.5 days work is = 3.5/a = 7/2a
and B's 26.5days work is = 26.5/b = 53/2b
now A's 3.5 days work and B's 26.5days work completed the work --> 1
and given 15 days work of A and B will complete the work -->
both are same i.e completed the work
7/2a + 53/2b = 15 (1/a + 1/b) (or) 3.5/a + 26.5/b = 15 (1/a + 1/b)
==> 7b + 53 a = 30a + 30b
==> 23a = 23b ==> a = b
==> if A and B can complete work of equal capacities in 15 days
then individually take A takes15 days B takes 15 days

Question:
A and B can do a work in 15 days. If A alone works on it for 3.5 days and B completes remaining work in 26.5 days then A can alone complete the whole work in how many days?
Options:
A) 20 days
B) 25 days 
C) 30 days 
D) 40 days
