this is bad description, says one answer & key shows another (this is twice in this paper )

Question:

The ratio of the outer and the inner perimeters of a circular path is 23:22. If the path is 5 metre wide, the diameter of the inner circle is

Options:
A)

110 m

B)

55 m

C)

220 m

D)

230 m

Ans: (c)


Diameter = 2r = 2*110=220m

Dear Student
Let the inner circle radii be 22x and that of outer circle be 23x. Given the path is 5m wide. So 23x-22x=5. Gives x=5m. Thus the diameter of the inner circle will be 22x*2=44x=44*5=220m.
